On Wednesday, September 24, 2025  Loretta Mester presented an update on the economy and monetary policy to members of the Princeton University community.  Following her initial remarks, she was in conversation with Alan Blinder.

Loretta Mester is a senior scholar at the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies, Princeton University.  She also holds the title of Adjunct Full Professor of Finance at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  She is the former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Alan Blinder is Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University and former vice chair of the Federal Reserve Board, and former member of the President's Council of Economic Advisers.
